FIRST HEIST / BEGINNER

Gnomes Beginner Guide

For your first run, learn the way into the house and the way back out before chasing a fast clear. Breaking In! is the first-entry badge; the timed and whole-team goals can come later.

Pick a first-run goal

The official objective is a house heist with the Homeowner as the threat. You collect valuables and get out, then use quests, tools and upgrades for progression. The route below is editorial advice built around that loop; it is not a tested map walkthrough.

A first house entry matches Breaking In!. Completing a round in under five minutes is the separate Speedy Thief target. Keeping a full team safe through escape is the separate Gnome Squad target. Trying all three at once gives a new player competing priorities.

Your first repeatable route

  1. Before entering, identify the route you intend to use to leave. Follow the prompts currently shown by the game; exact controls and entrances are not documented here.
  2. Enter the Homeowner’s house. The official Breaking In! description ties its badge to your first entry.
  3. Start with a nearby pickup you can reach along that route. Learn how the game confirms collection before extending the trip.
  4. Return toward the exit before pushing into unfamiliar rooms. Treat a new path as something to learn, not a guaranteed shortcut.
  5. Finish the run, read the actual reward/quest result and change one part of the next route. A repeatable outcome is a better starting point than a promised coins-per-minute figure.

Avoid these early mistakes

  • Do not follow a Burglin’ Gnomes Steam guide as if it documents this Roblox game. Similar house-heist themes do not establish shared controls, enemies or extraction rules.
  • Do not assume a server capacity of 20 tells you how many players a badge needs. The official Gnome Squad wording gives no fixed team count.
  • Read a tool’s current effect and price before spending. No verified shop catalog or best-upgrade ranking is available in our sources.

The route is practical editorial advice. Exact map geometry, keybinds and detection rules have not been observed.
